Reverend Derek Hopkins
Rev’d Derek Hopkins has been our minister since 2013. Derek brings a wide experience from a variety of different ministries in Rugby, West Bridgford, Yardley Hastings & Director of Crossways Conference Centre.
Derek describes himself as a very practical person seeking to apply the Bible’s teaching to the everyday situations, problems & joys of daily living. In his academic life Derek has looked at infertility and pastoral care and more recently at the enabling and energising power of individual spirituality.
Derek is married to Janette and they have four children and six grandchildren. In his spare time Derek is a sculptor, working in wood but mainly alabaster.
